Design with heart & mind.

With over ten years of diverse experience, I have learned that design is a tool to solve problems for others. Because of that, I put a lot of passion and consideration into what I create, and I am optimistic about the positive impact it can have on people and the planet.

I have tackled challenges for companies that range from fair trade start-ups to the world's largest hotel corporation. I've designed for government agencies like FEMA and philanthropies like The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Each project was unique, but collectively they taught me to stay flexible, collaborative, and open-minded in designing the best solution.

Recently, while living in Shanghai, I earned my M.S. in Interactive Media and Communication. The experience of living in a completely different environment while pursuing my studies opened my eyes to how effective design can vary based on cultural norms.

Now I am living in Chicago with my husband and our rescue dog, Abu. Outside work, I love traveling, participating in historical walks around the city, reading, and tinkering with various creative side projects. The Values that Guide My Work

Design is fun, but it can also be messy. My values remind me that how I approach the work matters as much as the outcome.

The Places I've Called Home

I've been fortunate enough to live in a wide range of cities and countries—with each place revealing its charm and shaping my personal and creative outlook along the way.

El Paso, Texas

Born and raised in the sun city with breathtaking sunsets, El Paso blends boundaries between Mexican and American cultures.

Austin, Texas

The hill country of central Texas is where long scorching summers, live music, and breakfast tacos reign.

Sydney, Australia

With beautiful beaches, great art galleries, and the best seafood, Sydney pairs big city vibes with a breezy "enjoy life" atmosphere.

Washington, D.C.

There's no better place to soak up the four seasons, incredible museums, and everything American history than the nation's capitol.

Shanghai, China

With art deco architecture gallore, tasty street eats, and layers of historical intrigue, Shanghai perfectly mixes East with West, and traditional with modern.
